In developing the branding for Blink, a new cafe concept in Abu Dhabi, we chose to inject a sense of playfulness right from the start, beginning with the name itself.
“Blink” was chosen to embody the quick, bright moment of joy that a good cup of coffee can bring, mirroring the instant uplift coffee lovers feel with each sip.

For the typeface, we integrated an icon within the typography, transforming the letter “I” into an eye that appears to blink. This creative twist highlighted the name’s significance and set the tone for the brand’s personality – lively and engaging.

To further solidify this aspect of the brand’s image, we chose contrasting yet complementary colours to catch the eye and evoke a sense of vibrancy and energy.

We also developed comprehensive guidelines that were applied across various aspects of the business, from interior design to the branding of cups and coffee bags.
